Presenting the Reunion Tour of “O n A Winter’s Night” from veteran singer-songwriters that remain among the brightest stars of the singer/songwriter movement for the past three decad es. Mike Laureanno hails from Fal l River\, MA an old mill-town infamous for its axe wielding resident Lizzi e Borden and famous for its chow mein sandwiches and pork pies.​ A passion ate performer\, Mike’s songs are visceral and evocative. He is proud of hi s roots and many of his songs deal with his gritty blue collar hometown an d the lives of his family and friends. Guitarist Barry Goudreau\, formerly of Boston\, recently announced the release of his new CD\, “The Road\,” from his band Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room. Barry’s blues/rock ensemble includes his former RTZ bandmates Brian Maes on lead v ocals and keyboards\, as well as Tim Archibald on bass. Go udreau calls it “Contemporary classic rock”\, an apt description of songs like “Love Will Lead The Way”\, “Word To The Wise”\, and the power ballad “Shade”–songs inspired by the iconic music of the great rock bands of the ’70s and beyond.

The Engine Room’s 2017 CD Full Steam Ahead” cover s the whole spectrum of blues and rock\, from the stripped down blues of “ All Mine” to the all out rock assault of “Need”. A longtime friend of Goud reau’s\, legendary bluesman James Montgomery\, sits in on harp for “Layin’ it Down {In Beantown}.” Barry says\, “I wanted to look back to the acts o f the late sixties and early seventies when they were reinventing the blue s in new and exciting ways”. Maes produced the record in his studio with G oudreau recording the guitar tracks in his home studio.

Birthed from the dusty high plains of the bible b elt\, wordsmith James Lee Baker sources the essence of hi s craft from a small-town past and a journey of self-discovery as the way out. Laced with mysticism\, his emotive and thought-provoking songs speak to the shared\, tender heart of our human condition.

\n

​In 2020\, he released 100 Summers – a full-length LP of songs centered around a theme of change. The title track reached #1 on the FAI Folk charts that month\, garnering nearly half a million streams across platforms. Two of the songs on the project –Returning to Paris and The Last Cowboy in Hutchinson Coun ty – were selected as finalists for several nationally-known songwriting c ontests.

In 2022\, he released a cover project called “Impressions ”\, recorded by Chris Bell (U2\, The Eagles) and produced by Roscoe Beck ( Eric Johnson\, Leonard Cohen)\, which was released in 2022.
